Cuebao Children’s Personal Information Protection Rules
These Rules form part of the Cuebao Privacy Policy and specifically explain how we protect the personal information of children under the age of fourteen. Before a child uses functions of Cuebao that involve personal information, a guardian should read and agree in full to these Rules, the Cuebao Privacy Policy and the Cuebao Terms of Service.
1. Guardian consent
We process children's personal information only where we have obtained guardian consent or where laws and regulations otherwise permit. If a guardian does not consent, please do not allow the child to use functions that require personal information.
2. Children's personal information we may process
In order to provide accounts, core companion and pet-care features, security protection, customer service and the handling of rights requests, we may process a child's account identifier, display name, contact details, verification code records, device and security information, pet names, pet state, interaction records, service content, compliance records and necessary diagnostic information.
3. Minimum necessity and dedicated protection
- We process children's personal information only to the extent necessary to achieve clearly identified purposes.
- We protect children's personal information using encryption, access control, least-privilege principles, log auditing and security management systems.
- Personnel who come into contact with children's personal information are subject to confidentiality obligations and may access the information only to the extent required by their duties.
- We do not use children's personal information for purposes unrelated to providing the Service.
4. Entrusted processing and sharing
In order to send verification codes, perform human verification, safeguard the security of the Service and provide infrastructure support, we may entrust service providers to process necessary information. Except as provided by laws and regulations, with the separate consent of a guardian, or where necessary to protect the lawful rights and interests of the child, we do not share, transfer or publicly disclose children's personal information to other third parties.
5. Guardian rights
A guardian may request to access, copy, correct, supplement or delete a child's personal information, withdraw consent, delete the child's account, or ask us to explain the rules for processing children's personal information. Please contact us at privacy@cuebao.com and provide the necessary materials evidencing the guardianship relationship and the ownership of the account.
6. Deletion and account cancellation
If we discover that we have processed children's personal information without guardian consent, or if a guardian lawfully requests deletion, withdrawal of consent or cancellation of the account, we will delete or anonymise the relevant personal information in accordance with the law. Information that laws and regulations require us to retain, or that is necessary for security, audit or dispute handling, will be deleted or anonymised once the retention period expires.

8. Handling of guardian requests
When a guardian makes a request to access, copy, correct, supplement or delete information, to withdraw consent or to cancel an account, we may require the necessary materials evidencing the guardianship relationship, the ownership of the account and the authenticity of the request. We use these materials solely for the purpose of handling the request and safeguarding the child's rights and interests.
Relationship with other documents. These Rules form part of the Cuebao Privacy Policy and specifically address the protection of children's personal information. Matters not covered by these Rules are governed by the Cuebao Privacy Policy, the Cuebao Personal Information Collection List and other related documents.
Updates and contact. If these Rules undergo a material change, we will notify guardians by prominent means and obtain consent again where required by law.
