Cuebao Personal Information Collection List

This list is written for Cuebao users. It brings together the categories of personal information we may collect and use when providing the Service, the purposes for which they are used, and the principles governing how long they are kept. Detailed processing rules are governed by the Cuebao Privacy Policy.

Account and sign-in information.

• Information that may be collected: account identifier, display name, phone number, email address, password hash, verification code records and sign-in method status.
• Purposes: to create accounts, verify sign-in, recover accounts, safeguard account security, and handle account deletion and customer service requests.

Device and service security information.

• Information that may be collected: device identifier, device model, system environment, app environment, language and region settings, IP address, request time, verification token and necessary logs.
• Purposes: to prevent fraud, automated abuse, credential-stuffing, malicious requests and other conduct that endangers the security of the Service.
• Effect of refusal: this category is fundamental to keeping the Service secure and stable; if it cannot be processed, some online services may not operate normally.

Notification and communication information.

• Information that may be collected: phone number, email address, message sending status, delivery status and unsubscribe status.
• Purposes: to send verification codes, security notices, service notices and information you have actively asked to receive.

User content and interaction information.

• Information that may be collected: text, images, audio, video, files, feedback, comments and interaction records that you actively submit, generate, upload, save or share.
• Purposes: to provide you with the ability to create, save, synchronise, display and share content, and with customer support and dispute handling.
• Effect of refusal: you may choose not to submit the relevant content; not submitting it does not affect basic functions such as account sign-in, but the related content features cannot be delivered.

Customer service and feedback information.

• Information that may be collected: contact details, problem descriptions, communication records, and related screenshots or supporting materials.
• Purposes: to respond to enquiries, handle complaints, locate problems, improve the Service and protect lawful rights and interests.

1. Sensitive personal information

Phone numbers, precise location, identity documents, biometric information and children's personal information may constitute sensitive personal information. We process sensitive personal information only where there is a specific purpose and sufficient necessity and where strict protective measures are in place; where separate consent is required by law, we will obtain your consent separately.

2. Sources of information

Personal information comes mainly from what you actively provide, from what is generated when you use the Service, from what your device or system provides in necessary scenarios, and from the processing results returned by entrusted processors in order to deliver verification codes, security verification, customer service and similar functions. We do not actively collect your personal information from unrelated third parties.

3. Retention period

We keep personal information only for the period necessary to achieve the purposes of processing. Where retention is required by laws and regulations, or is necessary to handle disputes, safeguard security or perform a contract, we will keep the information for the necessary period; once that period has elapsed, the information will be deleted or anonymised.

4. Exercising your rights

You may apply through the in-app entry points or at privacy@cuebao.com to access, copy, correct, supplement or delete your personal information, withdraw consent, delete your account, or request an explanation of our personal information processing rules.

Relationship with the Privacy Policy. This list is a more detailed explanation accompanying the Cuebao Privacy Policy, bringing together the main categories of personal information, the purposes of use, the sources, the retention arrangements and the ways to exercise rights. Detailed processing rules, sharing scenarios and protective measures are governed by the Privacy Policy and related notices.

Minimum necessity and choice. We process personal information only within the scope necessary to deliver a function. You may choose not to provide non-essential information; if you decline to provide information that is necessary for a particular function, that function may be unavailable, but this does not affect other functions that do not depend on it.

Updates to this list. If the categories of personal information, the purposes of processing, the sources or the retention rules change, we will update this list and, where required by law, notify you by prominent means or obtain your consent again.
